1. Why does YourCaptures.com
use digital format instead of film? |
|
|
|
Film format has always been the preferred
method of photo development for as long as images have been taken. The digital
camera industry has jumped amazing leaps in recent years in improving photo
resolution and clarity. At this point in time, it is impossible to tell the
difference between the two formats with the naked eye. As a result, the
flexibility of the digital equipment along with new conceptual photo
techniques now makes the digital format more efficient and cost effective for
the customer. Also, the chemicals required for film development are
considered toxic and are very expensive. Along with great successes in the
digital camera industry, extremely powerful digital imagery software programs
such as Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom were developed. These
programs make bad photographs taken in digital format much more recoverable,
no matter the conditions. These same photographs taken in film would most
likely end up in the darkroom waste bin. |

most comfortable with. |
